I'm Just Starting Out

Taking your first steps in faith is a beautiful and powerful decision. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to be perfect. You are loved by a God who sees you, knows you, and is inviting you into a relationship with Him.

This is a place where you can start small, ask honest questions, and grow at your own pace. God is not asking for perfection — just a willing heart.

Wherever you’ve been, whatever you’re carrying, you are welcome here.

Simple Bible Verses to Begin With

Here are a few verses to remind you of God’s love and promises as you start your journey.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

— John 3:16 (NIV)

"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

— Romans 10:9 (NIV)

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.”

— Psalm 23:1 (NIV)

“'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'”

— Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

What is Faith?

Faith is simply trusting God — even when you can’t see everything clearly yet.

It’s not about having all the answers or never doubting. Faith is saying, “God, I’m choosing to believe You are good, even when life feels uncertain.”

Faith starts small — like a seed. Jesus said that even faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains (Matthew 17:20).

At its heart, faith is a relationship, not a list of rules. It’s about knowing you are loved by God, forgiven through Jesus, and invited into a new life walking with Him.

You don’t have to earn God’s love. You don’t have to pretend to be strong.

You can begin simply: talk to God in your own words. Read His promises. Trust that He is with you even if you don’t “feel” it yet.

Faith grows over time, just like a friendship. Every small step matters.
