When You Feel Like You’re Not Enough

There are days when you feel like you’re failing at everything—faith, family, work, even holding it all together. You try to do the right things, say the right words, keep up appearances. But inside, you’re tired. You wonder if you’re enough.

That’s where this verse speaks so clearly. Paul was pleading with God to take away his weakness, and instead of removing it, God responded with something better: grace. Not perfection. Not performance. Just grace.

God isn’t asking you to have it all figured out. He isn’t waiting for you to finally be strong. He’s offering His strength in your weakness. It’s in the places where you fall short that He shines brightest.

So if you’re feeling inadequate today, maybe that’s exactly where grace wants to meet you—not to shame you, but to lift you. You are not disqualified by your weakness. You are a perfect candidate for grace.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

Pray

God, thank You that Your power doesn’t rely on my strength. Help me rest in Your grace today.
